My Brothers and sisters,
As a son of Haiti, carrying the same hopes, struggles, and dreams as each of you, I feel compelled today to answer the call of destiny. From the mountains of Haiti, and in the enduring shadow of our beloved President Dumarsais Estimé, a voice calls upon the sons and daughters of our nation to unite—so that together we may put an end to the disarray and despair that have clouded our glorious history.
For too long, our nation has carried the weight of poverty, insecurity, and political instability. But I tell you this: Haiti’s story is not one of despair. It is a story of resilience, courage, and a people who never give up. Haiti is not broken—Haiti is waiting. Waiting for leadership that serves with integrity, dignity, and vision.
We are here today because we believe in a new Haiti. A Haiti where our children go to school not in fear, but with joy. A Haiti where jobs are not a privilege for a few, but a right for all. A Haiti where health, education, and justice are not empty promises, but living realities.
My vision is clear:
To restore security so that every family can live in peace.
To rebuild our economy by supporting entrepreneurship, and inviting responsible investment.
To strengthen education so that the talents of our youth can shine across the world.
To ensure healthcare access for every Haitian, because no mother, father, or child should die for lack of medicine or care.
To defend our dignity as a nation proud of its history and determined in its future.
But my friends, this vision cannot be mine alone. It must be ours. Change is not the work of one man—it is the work of a united people. And when the people of Haiti unite, there is no challenge we cannot overcome.
To the Haitian diaspora—our brothers and sisters abroad:
You have never abandoned Haiti. You send your remittances, your prayers, and your voices. But now, I ask you for something greater. Do not only look back at Haiti with longing—look forward with action. Bring your skills, your knowledge, your investments, and your influence. Haiti needs your expertise in technology, in business, in health, and in education. Together, we can transform your love for this land into lasting development. Haiti will always be your home, and its rebirth will forever bear your signature.
To the youth of Haiti—our greatest treasure:
You are not only the future of this nation—you are its present. You are the heartbeat of Haiti, full of energy, talent, and ideas. Too often, you are told to wait your turn. I say to you: your turn is now. Stand up, get involved, take ownership of the destiny of this nation. Whether in politics, innovation, community leadership, or business, your role is vital. Together, we will open doors for you to lead, to create, and to shape a Haiti that reflects your dreams.
My friends, I ask you today to believe again. Believe in yourselves, believe in your neighbor, believe in Haiti. Together, we will write the next chapter of our history—not in blood and suffering, but in hope and progress.
Let us stand as one nation, one people, under one flag.
Together, let us build the Haiti we dream of—the Haiti we deserve.
